SNL Does Broadway with Neil Patrick Harris

I was lucky enough to see and meet Neil Patrick Harris when he starred in the West Coast Premier of Rent at La Jolla Playhouse back in 1997. He was awesome on SNL this weekend!


And if you haven't seen his latest musical effort yet, I highly recommend you watch Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog (done by the incomparable Joss Whedon of Buffy the Vampire fame).

(ps - How about the whole Jeremy Piven blow-up? We saw him last month on Broadway before he left for "medical reasons.")

I was sitting in the USC section (just happy to have a ticket to the game), and let me tell you...the final 7 minutes all the USC folks were like, "Holy CRAP, they might come back and win this or at least tie it! SHIT!" We had 'em running scared. And we filled only 25% of the stadium, but when we started hooting and hollerin' it drowned out they're 75% -- it was manic! :-)
